Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum layover to use LayStop?
We plan for layovers of six hours or more. That is enough to leave the airport, enjoy the experience and be back with a comfortable margin before your flight.
Which airports do you cover?
We cover Dubai International (DXB), Al Maktoum International (DWC) and Abu Dhabi International (AUH). All three airports in the UAE.
Is transport included?
No. The airport transfer is booked separately and is not part of any listing. We count a transfer each way in every minimum layover, and the transfers page lists the taxi, ride-hailing and pre-booked options at each airport.
How far in advance should I book?
At least 24 hours before your layover so the provider can confirm the slot. For same-day requests, book on the provider's site and message them straight away, or write to us and we will point you to what still fits.
What if my flight is delayed?
Tell the provider as soon as you know; their contact is on your confirmation. Most can adjust the start time or shorten the plan. If the new window no longer fits, ask about their cancellation terms.
