No LayStop listing includes the airport transfer. Here is how to arrange it at each airport, how long it usually takes, and how much margin to keep.
How we count it
The transfer is in the timing, not in the listing.
Every minimum layover on the site already deducts a transfer each way and a 90-minute buffer before departure. The transfer itself is yours to book: a taxi from the rank, a ride-hailing car, the Metro at DXB, or a pre-booked car for the return.
Some listings include their own pick-up; when they do, it is written in the card. Everything else assumes you make your own way there and back.

DXB · Dubai
Dubai International
Typical journey times from DXB: Downtown and DIFC around 15 to 25 minutes, Jumeirah and the beaches 25 to 35 minutes, Dubai Marina and the Palm 35 to 45 minutes. Evening rush hour (roughly 5 to 8 pm) can add 20 minutes or more. The transfer is not included in any listing: book it separately. Taxis wait outside every arrivals hall, ride-hailing apps work at DXB, and the Metro Red Line runs from Terminals 1 and 3 towards Downtown and the Marina. Be back at the terminal at least 90 minutes before departure; for peak hours or Terminal 3 long-haul flights, plan for two hours.
DWC · Dubai
Al Maktoum International
Typical journey times from DWC: Dubai Marina, JBR and the Palm around 30 to 40 minutes, Downtown 40 to 50 minutes, the desert camps to the south-east 45 to 60 minutes. Fewer airlines use DWC, so check which terminal you arrive at before booking a transfer. The transfer is not included in any listing: book it separately. Taxis are available outside arrivals; a pre-booked car or ride-hailing is the reliable option for the return, as there is no metro link. Be back at the terminal at least 90 minutes before departure.
AUH · Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi International
Typical journey times from AUH: Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque around 15 to 20 minutes, Saadiyat Island and the Louvre 25 to 35 minutes, the Corniche and downtown 30 to 40 minutes, Yas Island 15 to 20 minutes. Dubai is roughly an hour and a quarter each way, which we do not recommend on layovers under 10 hours. The transfer is not included in any listing: book it separately. Taxis wait outside arrivals and ride-hailing apps work at AUH; for the return, pre-book a car or ask the venue for the nearest rank. Be back at the terminal at least 90 minutes before departure.
